School of Specialised Excellence: Google plays a significant role as a partner in Delhi model virtual school and connected classrooms, says Manish Sisodia.

NEW DELHI: Google APAC president Scott Beaumont and Google India VP Sanjay Gupta visited the Delhi School of Specialised Excellence along with Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, who also handles the education portfolio.
According to Sisodia, Google plays a significant role as a partner in Delhi model virtual school and connected classrooms. In a tweet, he said that the Arvind Kejriwal government believes that technology is very important for the development of students.

Sisodia has recently announced the renaming of the Schools of Specialized Excellence as Dr BR Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence. Delhi government took the decision during a meeting of the state naming authority.
