Haryana CET 2022 begins today; 10.78 lakh candidates to appear

HSSC will conduct Haryana CET 2022 on November 5 and 6 in two shifts. Shift 1 from 10 am to 11:45 am and shift 2 from 3 pm to 4:45 pm.
NEW DELHI: Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) today, November 5, 2022. All government and private schools in the state will be closed today due to exams. 10.78 lakh candidates are going to appear in the exam.
11,36,894 lakh candidates had registered for the CET exams. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted on November 5 and 6 in 1,200 examination centres in 17 of the 22 districts of the state including one in the union territory and state capital Chandigarh.
“Due to the CET examination, on November 5, 2022 (Saturday), there will be a holiday in all government and private schools in all 22 districts of the state. Haryana Government has issued orders in this regard,” the Directorate School Education’s official notice read.
“This time the commission decided that the examination centres of the candidates should not be more than a 100 km radius,” SSC chairman Bhopal Singh had told PTI.
Haryana CET 2022 will be held in two shifts – shift 1 will be held from 10 am to 11.45 am and shift 2 will be conducted from 3 pm to 4:45 pm.
The Haryana Roadways also announced to offer free pick-and-drop facility to candidates appearing for the Haryana CET examination. One family member travelling with women candidates can also avail this free travel facility provided they show their identity documents, it said.
