HTET 2024 application correction deadline today; marking scheme, qualifying marks

NEW DELHI: The Board of School Education, Haryana will close the application correction window for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024 today, November 17. Registered candidates can modify their HTET 2024 application forms through the official website, haryanatet.in. The correction window opened on November 16.
To make changes, candidates need to log in using their application number and password. As per the official notice, candidates can make changes in their name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, email ID, gender, and Aadhaar number during the Haryana TET 2024 application correction period.
The HTET 2024 exam is conducted for candidates aspiring to become primary teachers (PRT) for classes 1 to 5, trained graduate teachers (TGT) for classes 6 to 8, and postgraduate teachers (PGT) for higher classes.
HTET 2024 exam date
The HTET exam 2024 will be conducted on December 7 and December 8, 2024, for candidates aspiring to qualify as teachers in various levels. As per the official schedule, the HTET 2024 level 3 exam, conducted for postgraduate teachers (PGT), is scheduled for December 7, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
On December 8, the level 2 exam, for trained graduate teachers (TGT), will take place in the morning session from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The level 1 exam, for primary teachers (PRT), will be held on the same day, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.

HTET 2024 marking scheme, qualifying marks
HTET 2024 will be conducted in conventional pen-and-paper mode and will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking. The duration of the competitive test will be 150 minutes.
The qualifying marks for all categories, except scheduled castes (SC) and differently-abled, physically challenged candidates, the minimum qualifying marks are set at 60%. For scheduled castes (SC) and differently-abled, physically challenged candidates need a minimum of 55% to qualify.
However, scheduled castes and differently-abled, physically challenged candidates from other states must secure 60% to qualify the HTET 2024.
