ICSE, ISE Board Exam 2022: CISCE issues important instructions for term 1 exams

NEW DELHI: The Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced important instructions for ICSE, ISE students who are going to appear for the Class 10, 12 term 1 exam in November. The Council will be conducting Class 10 or ICSE and Class 12 or ISE board exam 2022 in two terms.
As per the revised ICSE, ISE datesheet 2021 released by CISCE, the Class 10 term 1 exam will begin on November 29 and the ISE Class 12 term 1 exams will begin from November 22. The CISCE board exam term 2 for Class 10, 12 will be held in March/ April 2022. The first semester exam for Class 10, 12 will be held in multiple-choice questions (MCQs) format.
CISCE Board exam 2022: Important instructions
- Each candidate registered and confirmed for ICSE and ISE should appear for both the semester exams for the same subjects.
- The candidates should collect their admit cards ahead of these examinations from the Heads of their respective schools.
- Candidates must be seated in the examination hall / Room five minutes before the time fixed for the start of the examination in the subject.
- If an examination Paper for which the candidate is not entered is handed to him/her, he/she must immediately bring this to the attention of the Supervising Examiner.
- Candidate must read carefully all general directions that may be given at the head of a paper, e.g., directions regarding the number of questions that should be attempted, etc.
- Candidates are advised to answer only that number of questions as mentioned in the Question Paper- cum - Answer Booklet.
- On the top – sheet of the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet, candidates must put their signatures in the space provided for the purpose.
- Candidates must clearly write their Unique ID (Unique Identification Number) and Index Number on the top-sheet of the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet in the space provided. All entries on the Question Paper - cum - Answer Booklet must be made with Black/Blue ink pen only.
- ISE Class 12 candidates are permitted to use simple electronic calculators.
