IGNOU Admissions 2025: The applications will be accepted for all programmes except for certificate and semester-based courses. Apply on ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the IGNOU July admission 2025 registration till October 13. The registration has only been extended for ODL programmes, except for certificate and semester-based courses.
Additionally, candidates who want to cancel their IGNOU application can do so through the applicant’s login window. Once the cancellation is submitted, it cannot be revised. Earlier, IGNOU extended the deadline for registration till September 30 with a late fee payment of Rs 200 for all courses in ODL and online mode.
“Once cancelled, the application shall not be restored, and a refund, if applicable, shall be initiated as per the university Rules,” the official IGNOU website reads.
IGNOU offers admissions to BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, MBA, MCA, MA, MSc, MCom, MPhil, and PhD courses based on the scores of the entrance examination.

IGNOU Admissions 2025: How to apply?
The steps to apply for IGNOU admission 2025 are as follows.
- Visit the official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- Click on the “New Registration” and fill out the IGNOU application form.
- After registration, click on the “Login” button and submit all the required documents.
- Pay the IGNOU admission fee through credit card, debit card, and net banking.
To apply for IGNOU July admissions 2025, candidates must have a scanned photograph and signature under 100 KB and a copy of their education qualification, experience certificate, category certificate, SC, ST, or OBC.
