IIM Kozhikode launches Diploma in Management for graduates, working professionals; classes from May

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has launched a one-year Diploma in Management (DiM) programme for graduates and working professionals. The course in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aims to upskilling professionals.
The DiM programme, led-by IIM Kozhikode, provides practical, industry-relevant curriculum to candidates and is designed to fill the gap between certificate-level courses and degree programmes, as per the official statement by the institute.

The Diploma in Management is our answer to the growing demand for skilling and reskilling in a rapidly evolving job market. The management institute will commence the first batch for the DiM programme for the academic year 2025-26 in the third week of May. Students will also have an option of “credit transfer facilities to the MBA programme as part of DiM, which will have two in-campus modules (5 days each)”, the institute said.

IIM Kozhikode’s DiM programme: Eligibility, selection process
Graduates and diploma holders with professional experience are eligible to apply for the one-year DiM programme. The candidates will be selected on the basis of scores obtained from IIMK DMAT (Diploma in Management Aptitude Test) and personal interview.
The institute has not yet announced the IIMK DMAT date sheet.
The management programme will provide classroom sessions, live virtual classes, and “asynchronous content” on general management topics. Electives such as artificial intelligence (AI), Fintech, Business Analytics, and digital marketing will also be part of the curriculum.
Workshops led by industry experts will be organised for the candidates where the mentors will guide them regarding professional development.
