IISER IAT 2025 registration date revised; application portal opens on March 10, no change in exam schedule

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has revised the IISER aptitude test (IAT) 2025 exam schedule. Eligible candidates can now register for the IISER IAT 2025 exam from march 10, 2025 through the official website at iiseradmission.in.
The IISER IAT 2025 application portal will remain open till April 15, 2025. Earlier, the IISER IAT 2025 registration window was scheduled to be open on March 5. The institute will open the IISER IAT 2025 application form correction window from April 21 to 22. IISER IAT hall tickets 2025 will be released on May 15, 2025.
The institute has not made any changes in IISER IAT 2025 exam dates. As per the official schedule, the IISER IAT 2025 exam will be held on May 25, 2025. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9 am as a computer-based test in centres across India.
The IISER IAT 2025 exam will have 60 multiple-choice questions—15 each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics—with a duration of 180 minutes. The exam will be conducted for 240 marks in total. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer, while an incorrect response will result in a deduction of 1 mark. Unanswered questions will receive 0 marks.
IISER IAT 2025 Application Form: Documents uploading specifications
Candidates can check the specifications for uploading documents required during the IISER IAT 2025 registration process.
- The photograph should be in JPEG or JPG format with a maximum file size of 200 KB.
- The signature must be uploaded in JPEG or JPG format, not exceeding 200 KB.
- The Class 12th or equivalent mark sheet should be in PDF, JPEG, or JPG format with a file size limit of 1 MB.
- If applicable, the category certificate must be in PDF, JPEG, or JPG format with a maximum size of 1 MB.
- The photo ID should be in JPEG or JPG format and should not exceed 200 KB.
