IIT Jammu joins hands with Skill-Lync to launch certificate courses in future mobility engineering

The IIT Jammu-Skill-Lync certificate programmes will address emerging skill needs in electric vehicles, automotive electronics and software-driven mobility systems
The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu), through its Institute Incubation and Innovation Council (I3C), is set to launch certificate programmes in future mobility engineering in collaboration with Skill-Lync.
Candidates can book free trail classes at https://iit-jammu-pg.skill-lync.com/#curriculum.
The programmes will be accessible through both Skill-Lync’s platform and IIT Jammu’s official course listings.
The initiative aims to address emerging skill requirements in India’s rapidly evolving automotive and mobility sector, particularly in areas shaped by electrification, vehicle electronics and software-led systems, noted the joint press release of IIT Jammu and Skill-Lync.

The certificate courses are structured to blend “academic rigour and applied learning”, reflecting how mobility engineering is “practised today across EV, electronics, and software-driven platforms”, the press note read.
Upon completion, learners will receive a joint certificate issued by IIT Jammu and Skill-Lync.
IIT Jammu, Skill-Lync partnership
The collaboration seeks to strengthen applied engineering education by aligning curriculum design with contemporary industry needs while retaining strong engineering fundamentals, read the press release.
A senior representative from I3C–IIT Jammu said the partnership aligns with the institute’s broader academic objectives. “At I3C–IIT Jammu, we remain committed to advancing engineering excellence and contributing meaningfully to India’s technology ecosystem. Collaborating with Skill-Lync allows us to support well-structured initiatives aligned with the evolving needs of the mobility and automotive sector,” the official said.
Krishna Bandaru, co-founder of Skill-Lync, said, “Our work with automotive organisations has highlighted how engineering roles are changing across EVs, software-defined platforms and advanced manufacturing. Partnering with I3C, IIT Jammu enables these learnings to be delivered within a stronger academic framework.”
