IIT Kharagpur opens applications for PhD, PG admissions for international students at iitkgp.ac.in

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP) has opened applications for international students that wish to seek admission in postgraduate (PG) and doctoral (PhD) programmes. Candidates interested in applying for the August semester 2023-24 can apply at official website- international.iitkgp.ac.in till April 30, 2023.
IIT Kharagpur will be offering 60 PG programmes in fields of engineering and technology, basic sciences, social sciences, humanities, law, entrepreneurship, management, and medicine. The institute has also opened admissions for over 50 doctoral programmes.

International students applying for admission at IIT KGP can also opt for financial aids and scholarships by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Study in India Scholarship Scheme. The institute also offers scholarship programmes funded by IITKGP alumni.
IIT Kharagpur offers placements assistance to its students with recruiters from various fields including IT, core engineering, finance, consulting, automobiles, PSUs among others. The I IT Kharagpur placements 2022 saw 48 offers in the CTC range of Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2.64 crore per annum. Companies such as Airbus, Accenture Japan, Da Vinci Derivatives, Excel, Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Squarepoint Capital, N K Securities, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel, participated.
