IIT Mandi TIH Programme: A total of only 30 applicants can participate in the 23-hour certificate programme.
Indian Institute of Technology Mandi’s (IIT Mandi) TIH has launched a hybrid upskilling certification programme for subject experts. It aims to tackle India’s growing AI talent gap by enabling professionals to build and functional AI agents in a few weeks, as per the official statement.
In association with Nagent AI’s no-code platform, the registrations for this 23-hour certificate programme are currently open and the last date to apply is August 30.
Notably, the short-period programme has limited seats and only 30 participants can be part of it. The course curriculum will include online modules and in-person campus immersion at IIT Mandi’s Technology Innovation Hub (TIH).
“IIT Mandi’s Technology Innovation Hub and Nagent AI are launching India’s first no-fluff, hands-on workshop that gives working professionals a practical roadmap to agentic AI. Led by builders who speak both tech and business, this program will show how humans and intelligent agents can team up to reinvent what’s possible—today, not someday.” Somjit Amrit, CEO of IIT Mandi TIH, said.
The programme also includes hands-on experience of building deployable AI agents using Nagent AI’s playground, with direct access to 100s of cutting-edge AI models, RAG pipeline and tools.

Scope of short-term AI-based programme
Candidates who will complete the programme will be given projects through Nagent AI’s community or can build AI agents for their enterprises.
“Top projects will be considered for funding through iHub's Call for Innovation pipeline (up to ₹1 crore), with industry showcase opportunities and certification,” the official statement by the college reads.
The program aims to compress traditional 6 to 12-month AI upskilling cycles into weeks, responding to industry's time-to-value pressures, it added.
“Unlike offerings from Google Vertex AI Agent Builder and Microsoft Copilot Studio, this hybrid program uniquely combines academic mentorship, production-grade security, and industry relevance,” the engineering institute stated.
The topics in the programme are agent orchestration, multi-agent collaboration, agentic prompting, proprietary data grounding through no-code RAG Pipeline.
