Download EBookNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated the official website of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 - jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students can expect the JEE Main 2022 registration date soon. The application process will include JEE Main 2022 registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fee.

This year, students will only get two chances and not four to appear for the JEE Main 2022 as the NTA has decided to conduct exams in the months of April and May only, the Times of India reported.

Last year, the Agency conducted four sessions of JEE Main exam and the ministry of education had decided to increase the number of attempts to four from 2021 onwards.
JEE Main 2022 registration steps
Once NTA releases application form, candidates will be able to apply following these steps:
- Visit the JEE Main official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the direct link to complete the JEE Main application form.
- Complete the JEE Main 2022 registration form.
- Login using valid credentials.
- Fill in details in the application form.
- Upload required documents as per the specifications.
- Pay the application fee in online mode.
- Preview and submit the JEE Main application form 2022.

Documents required
- Education qualification certifications (Class 10, 12).
- Reserved category certificate (If applicable).
- Scanned image of photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- Credit card or Debit card or Net banking details for online payment.
- Photo ID proof like Aadhaar, Bank passbook, Ration card copy etc.
- Active mobile number and email ID.
