JKSSB Constable 2024 Recruitment: Candidates can apply online for JKSSB constable 2024 through the official website, jkssb.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) will close the registration process for Constable posts on September 7, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online for JKSSB constable 2024 through the official website, jkssb.nic.in. The JKSSB recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 4,002 constable vacancies in the organisation.
The registration process for Constable posts started on August 8, 2024. Interested candidates will have to pay Rs 700 as application fee. In the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS categories, the fee payable shall be Rs 600.
The JKSSB constable application fee can be paid through online mode- net banking, credit card or debit card. Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and shall be summarily rejected.
JKSSB Constable 2024 selection process
The selection process for the JKSSB Constable 2024 typically involves the following stages:

Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Candidates must meet certain physical standards such as height, chest measurements (for male candidates), and weight requirements as per the official notification.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):
- This includes tasks to evaluate the physical fitness of the candidates, such as running, long jump, high jump, etc.

Written Examination:
- Candidates who clear the PST and PET will have to appear for a written test.
- The test generally consists of objective-type questions covering various topics like General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General English.

Document Verification:
- Shortlisted candidates from the written examination will be called for document verification, where they need to present valid educational and identification documents.

Medical Examination:
- Candidates who pass the document verification phase will undergo a medical examination to ensure they are fit for the position.

Final Merit List:
- A merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the physical tests and written examination. The final selection will depend on the candidate's rank in the merit list.
