JMI Prospectus 2025: International student admissions
Among the other major highlights of JMI prospectus 2025 are the changes introduced for the international students. The university has reduced the fee for applicants from the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries which include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka as well as for foreign students applying for diploma courses under polytechnic.
Moreover, two seats have been reserved for foreign nationals or Non-Resident Indian (NRI) students in the BDS programme, the admissions to which are conducted via the National Eligibility Entrance Test ( NEET ).
In a relief to international PhD aspirants, Jamia has decided to conduct online interviews for the foreign nationals. The move has been taken as the students used to find it difficult to procure visas and travel to India to appear for the offline PhD admission process .
