JNU ABVSME registration starts at jnuee.jnu.ac.in; apply till February 28

NEW DELHI: The Jawaharlal Nehru University Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (JNU ABVSME) has started the registration process for Master of Business Administration (MBA) on the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in. Candidates will be able to apply for the MBA programme till February 28.

As per the application process, students will have to first register and then by logging in through the allotted application number and password, candidates will be able to submit their application.

Candidates belonging to unreserved, economically-weaker sections (EWS) and other backward categories (OBC) will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000. Students from the scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and disabled candidates will have to submit Rs 1,000 as registration fee.

Candidates applying for the JNU MBA programme will have to upload the scanned copy of their photo and signature, Class 10 and 12 mark sheet, bachelor degree mark sheet. They will also have to upload CAT 2023 or GMAT score (for foreign nationals) certificate for JNU MBA admission 2024.

Selection criteria

Students will be selected for the JNU MBA Admission 2024 on the basis of CAT score (70% weightage), group discussion (10% weightage) and personal interview (20% weightage).

ABVSME dean Rajeev Sijaria said the school started its first MBA batch in 2019. Three batches have passed out from the JNU MBA programme. The alumni have been placed in companies such as NABARD, Axis Bank, ZEE, ITC Limited, KMPG, Ernst and Young, Petronet LNG, IndusInd Bank, Naukri.com, Somani Ceramics, American Express, Tech Mahindra, KPMG, IIFL and Lava..

Sijaraia said the curriculum of the MBA is restructured from time to time under the guidance of subject experts from IIMs and IITs of the country. According to the National Education Policy 2020, along with class teaching, importance is also being given to hands-on training and case studies, he added.

The institute has recently been working to promote academic activities through the embassies of Japan, Israel and Ethiopia.
