NEW DELHI: Karnataka government is likely to introduce moral education for school students by introducing Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata and Ramayana into the school curriculum, said BC Nagesh, state minister of primary and secondary education and Sakala.
ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ, ಮಹಾಭಾರತ, ರಾಮಾಯಣ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೈತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿ ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಸಾಲಿನಿಂದಲೇ ನೈತಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಬೋಧನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ pic.twitter.com/GcxenDiTpd

Last month, the Gujarat state government had announced its plan to introduce Bhagavad Gita in the school curriculum for Classes 6 to 12 from the academic year 2022-23. Similarly, a BJP MLA from Maharashtra asked demanded the Maharashtra government to introduce Bhagavad Gita in the state school syllabus.
