Stating that the trust has been lost over the conduct of national entrance exams , N Samsudheen, general education minister, said in the report: “Today, the Kerala Legislative Assembly passed its resolution expressing concerns regarding the NEET examination . In this resolution, the Kerala State Assembly highlighted the anxieties of our students.”
In the report, Samsudheen also said that the national-level exams were failing due to several reasons. Through the resolution, the Kerala Assembly is trying to convey a message to the Centre that every examination “must be conducted in a completely correct manner, without any failures,” he added.

The resolution to urge the Centre to reform the national entrance exam system was introduced by Roji M John, higher education minister, Kerala who was backed by MLAs of the United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Left Democratic Front (LDF), Hindustan Times reported.
John further said in the HT report that the resolution was being rolled out at a time when the credibility, transparency and the trust of national level examinations like NEET were under threat due to widespread irregularities, technical faults at centres and irregularities in the evaluation method.
“It is condemnable that the Union government and relevant authorities are failing to take corrective steps and recognise the seriousness of the glitches despite so many accounts of irregularities,” the resolution stated in the report.
As per the Kerala Assembly resolution, mentioned in the report, the examination deficiencies were “adversely” affecting the years of hard work, commitment and preparation of students across the country. It also violated their constitutional right to equality, it added.
