Subscribe NowNEW DELHI : Maharashtra state Education Minister Varsha Eknath Gaikwad has announced that in wake of the request made to conduct the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET), it has been decided that the entrance test will be conducted from September 15 to December 31. Approximately 40, 000 vacancies will be filled at different levels for the post of teachers
The MAHA TET Exam is being conducted after 2018. The minister took to twitter to announce the dates for the exam. She mentioned on the microblogging site that it is likely that approximately 10 lakh students will appear for the MAHA TET exam since the entrance test was not held for the past two years.

MAHA TET 2021 Exam Pattern
According to the MAHA TET 2021 exam pattern, there will be two papers. The focus of the MAHA TET 2021 exam is to recruit teachers for classes 1 to 4th and 5th to 8th. Candidates can appear for the exam for one group or for both the groups.
Recruitment of teachers through MAHA TET 2021 to take place in phases
School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had recently given approval for recruitment of about 6,100. According to the decision that has been taken, there are about 6100 vacancies for teachers in primary, upper primary, secondary, higher secondary schools, government and aided teacher diploma schools (D.L.A.D. Colleges).
