Download NowNEW DELHI: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Class 10, 12 board exams 2024 are underway. To prevent use of unfair means in the board exam 2024, Thane district administration has issued prohibitory orders around the exam centres.
The Maharashtra Board Class 12 higher secondary school certificate (HSC) exams 2024 started yesterday with English paper. On the other hand, the Maharashtra Board Class 10 exam 2024 will begin from March 1 to March 26.
The board has revised the exam timings this year. The 10 minute reading time has been withdrawn as the alleged paper leak cases happened during the time period given for reading the question paper. Last year, Maha HSC paper leak took place some time before the scheduled start of the exam at 11 am, in which more than 31,000 students were set to appear in Buldhana district.
Although the 10 minutes reading time has been removed, the board has added 10 minutes extra time to attempt the question paper, meaning students will get 190 minutes to answer the theory paper.
“The assembly of people will not be allowed within 100 metres from the exam centres,” the order issued by collector Ashok Shingare will remain in force between February 21 and March 19 for HSC exam, and from March 1 to March 26 for class 10 exam in Thane district, the PTI reported.
The board is conducting Maha Class 12th Hindi board exam 2024 today in the morning shift and German, Japanese, Chinese, Persian papers in the evening shift. Class 10 students will appear for first language - Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Bengali, Punjabi - and third language on March 1.
