Download NowNEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune has concluded Class 12 board exams 2024. The Maharashtra Class 12 board exams 2024 were held from February 21 to March 19. This year, 15,13,909 students appeared for Maha Class 12th.
The Maharashtra Board is expected to declare the Class 12 higher secondary certificate (HSC) results in May.
English; a modern Indian language or a modern Foreign Language or a classical language or information technology or general knowledge (for military schools only); environment education; health and physical education are the compulsory subjects in Class 12 HSC board. Students get to opt any four elective subjects other than the compulsory subjects.
The theory exams carry 80 marks and 20 marks for internal assessment, project or oral test. Last year, 14,57,293 candidates registered for the HSC board exam and 14,16,371 appeared in the annual exam. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 91.25% - boys obtained 89.14% pass percentage and 93.73% girls passed the exam.
