Try NowThe State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has released the Maharashtra direct second year (Lateral Entry) Engineering (DSE) final merit list 2026 on the official website of DSE at dse2026.mahacet.org.in. The final merit list mentioning the applicants' qualifying marks. The list is prepared on the basis of grievances against the DSE provisional merit list.

This final merit list is prepared for qualified diplomas, B.Sc. with Mathematics, D.Voc. and defence candidates who applied for admission into the second year of B.E./B.Tech (Lateral Entry) programmes across participating engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
Along with the list, the CET Cell has also released the CAP Round 1 provisional category-wise seat matrix. Candidates can review the seats as per the college, branch and category. The CAP 1 seat allotment result will be out on August 4, 2026 and accepting and reporting can be done from August 5 to 8, 2026. The display of provisional vacant seats for CAP II will be released on August 8, 2026.

To check and download the Maharashtra DSE (Lateral Entry) Engineering final merit list 2026, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of DSE at dse2026.mahacet.org.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘click to visit’ for the programme you want to see
- The final merit list will appear on the screen
- Download the final merit list and take a printout for further reference

- DSE 2026 Final Merit List Printout
- Provisional/Confirmed Allotment Letter (once allotted in a CAP round)
- Diploma/B.Sc./D.Voc. Marksheets & Passing Certificate
- Class 10 Marksheet & Certificate (Date of Birth Proof)
- Domicile/Maharashtra State Candidature Certificate (if applicable)
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/SEBC/PwBD, if applicable, in the prescribed Maharashtra Government format)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for OBC/SEBC candidates, as per the specific admission notice)
- Passport-size Photographs
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/Passport)
- Original documents plus self-attested photocopies of each
Maharashtra DSE 2026: CAP schedule
The online submission and confirmation of option form of CAP Round-II will be done from August 9 to 11, 2026 and the provisional allotment will be out on August 14, 2026. Candidates can accept and report from August 15th to 18, 2026.
