Try NowThe State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Maharashtra has extended the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling registration till August 4. As per the revised schedule, the selection list for MBBS and BDS admissions will be August 11.
Maharashtra NEET counselling 2025 schedule is revised as per the direction of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). MCC has extended the registration deadline for NEET UG counselling 2025 under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats till August 3, to accommodate PwBD candidates who are still in the process of obtaining their certificate from disability centres.
Candidates applying for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2025 are advised to submit the original documents in scanned format. Additionally, PwD candidates should have claimed the quota at the time of NEET 2025 and submit the online PWD certificate issued by any one of the 16 boards.
Candidates belonging to the reservation category must claim in the application form before submitting.NRI category candidates are advised to register on the foreign candidate registration portal by August 3.

The State CET cell will announce the schedule for the CAP 1 round admission schedule for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BNYS, BPTH, BOT, BASLP/ B (P&O) soon.
Recently, the Maharashtra government has partially revoked the 10% EWS quota for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses. However, private colleges in Maharashtra will be allowed to implement 10% EWS quota if they increase the number of existing seats. The move invited a wave of criticism from the open category students, parents, and the medical community.
