Mewar University awarded NAAC A grade in second cycle of accreditation

Mewar University recorded placements with over 600 students placed with an average package of 4.2 lakh per annum.
NEW DELHI: Mewar University has announced that it has achieved the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) ‘A’ accreditation. As per the official release, the evaluation included several criteria such as study-teaching process, infrastructure, quality, research and professional creativity, employment and occupation of students, and many more.
Ashok Kumar Gadiya, chancellor, Mewar University said: “The recognition reflects the dedication, passion, and excellence of our university family, which consistently strives for higher standards. This accomplishment highlights our commitment to providing world-class education and driving advancements in research. It demonstrates our dedication to creating a learning environment that equips students to excel in today's competitive world.”
“The NAAC peer team appreciated the teaching-learning, research credentials and social commitment of the university. This will help us get more research projects,” Arpit Maheshwari, member, board of management, said.
Mewar University placements, average package
In 2023, Mewar University recorded placements with over 600 students placed with an average package of 4.2 lakh per annum, the university said.
Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, CEAT, Samsung, Lupin Pharma, Mankind Pharma, Axis Bank, Max Healthcare, Fortis Hospitals, L&T, L&T Finance and many more were top recruiters during the placements, it said.
The Mewar university offers courses in various fields such as engineering, pharmacy, law, management, agriculture and allied health sciences, it added.

The university further added by saying that from its foundation, Mewar University has been emphasizing on the strong industry – academia collaborations and has partnerships with more than 300 organizations located all across the country, where students are being sent for their practical learning and job opportunities.
Besides, the university has signed agreements with institutions such as Indo German tool room, central institute of petrochemical engineering technology, Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, Indian Institute of Soil Science, CIDC and many more, the university said.
