NEW DELHI: Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad is conducting the MICAT 2024 entrance exam today for admission into postgraduate diploma in management courses. Candidates should carry the admit card to be allowed to appear for MICAT 2024 phase 2 exam.
MICAT 2024 exam will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours 15 minutes. The MICAT exam is divided into three sections - psychometric test, descriptive test and aptitude test. The aptitude test has four sub-sections which will have objective-type questions only.
Each candidate should have taken at least one of the three exams - Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier’s Aptitude Test (XAT), or GMAT. The MICAT phase 2 results and score card will be made available on February 15.
MICAT 2024 selection process
As per the final selection criteria, CAT, XAT, or GMAT score will be given 20%, MICAT score will have 30%, GE and personal interview will have 20% and 30% weightage respectively.
- Section A psychometric test will be first evaluated. This section is a qualifier.
- The performance in the CAT, XAT, GMAT of the candidates who qualify section A will be considered. A minimum cut-off in CAT, XAT total percentile, GMAT score will be considered. Students should note that the institute will take the best of the three scores.
- Section C scores are normalized. Section B will be evaluated after section C.
- Both Sections C and B will have a sectional cut-off, based on percentile and raw scores.
- The candidate list for GE and PI is prepared based on a composite score formula of 50% CAT, XAT, GMAT score and 50% MICAT score.
Selected candidates will have to take part in the interview round to be conducted in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata or Mumbai.
