NTA NEET Fee Refund 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the facility to collect bank account details from National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2026) candidates for the purpose of refunding registration fees soon. Students will be able to submit the required details once the link is made available on the NEET official website, neet.nta.nic.in. NTA has announced the NEET re-test date 2026 after the medical entrance exam was cancelled over paper leak allegations.

NTA will close the NEET correction window today. NEET UG 2026 applicants can edit their present residential address, first and second preferred exam city and updated communication details (wherever applicable).

At a recent press briefing, the Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that NEET is expected to be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format over the coming years.

NEET Fee Refund Process 2026

According to the official NTA NEET 2026, additional payment is not required for the re-NEET exam process. The online facility for sharing bank account details for the refund of exam fees will be provided to candidates soon.

NEET UG 2026 May 3 cancellation had adversely affected more than 22 lakh candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH medical courses. NTA will conduct NEET re-exam on June 21 from 2 pm to 5:15 pm across the country. An additional 15 minutes are being provided for completion of documentation, verification, and other examination-related formalities.

Protests amid NEET paper leak

Amid the NEET UG paper leak 2026, several student bodies have raised concerns over the paper leak allegations and have demanded the resignation of minister Pradhan and action against those responsible. Student groups and opposition leaders have called for “accountability and justice” for students and stricter measures to prevent repeated exam-related irregularities.

Ahead of the re-NEET 2026 exam, the Centre has asked social media platforms to identify and remove misinformation networks spreading panic among students, fake leak claims and misleading exam-related content. Pradhan held a “high-level” review meeting with security agencies and platforms like Meta, Google and Telegram and pushed for tighter vigilance and monitoring.
