MCC to declare NEET PG round 3 seat allotment result tomorrow amid cut-off reduction demand

Download nowNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) round 3 seat allotment result 2023 will be declared tomorrow. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conclude the allotment process by today. The MCC NEET PG counselling 2023 seat allotment for round 3 can be downloaded from the official website, mcc.nic.in.
After United Doctors’ Front Association (UDFA) letter to the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written to the Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya demanding reduction in the NEET PG qualifying cut-off 2023 .
The doctors’ body reminded that the health ministry had reduced the NEET PG cut-off in the past three years to fill vacant seats. The UDFA had said that reduction in the qualifying percentile criteria will not be sufficient but the qualifying cut-off should be lowered to fill the vacant seats.
There is no update regarding the revision of NEET PG cut-off on the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in. However, the committee has uploaded the 25 newly added seats for the NEET PG round 3 counselling 2023 and 13,245 virtual vacancy for the ongoing round.
Students who already registered for the counselling will be able to download the seat allotment order tomorrow by logging in using the registration number and password on the counselling allotment link.
Last year, the NEET PG qualifying percentile was reduced by 25 percentile by the health ministry after the recommendation from the NMC. As per the revised criteria, cut-offs for general category was at 25 percentile, PwD General at 20 percentile, and SC, ST, OBC, PwD at 15 percentile.
