NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) was conducted on Sunday, May 7 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. NEET UG 2023, held as an offline test, was conducted for 20,87,449 medical aspirants this year. As per feedback by medical aspirants, the NEET UG 2023 question paper had a ‘moderate to tough’ physics and chemistry and easy biology. The NEET 2023 result date has not been announced yet. NTA will likely issue the NEET UG answer key and response sheet of individual candidates soon.

According to Saurabh Kumar, Chief Academic Officer, Vidyamandir Classes, NEET UG 2023 question paper had 22 easy questions, 7 difficult questions, 21 medium question, 12 statement-based, 9 multiple choice questions, 3 assertion reasons. There were 35 questions of Class 11 and 15 of Class 12.

A NEET UG 2023 aspirant alleged that the management was poor at his exam centre. "The management in our centre was literally very poor , they were shouting on students as well as on there parents like no hell , the bar code scanning and thumb identification was done when we were sitting in class," he said in a tweet. "The management was disturbing us many many times in between examination and moreover one of my sikh friend was not allowed to enter cause he was wearing his Kara and we're standing in extreme heat for almost 45 minutes before exam," he added.

NTA will release NEET 2023 provisional answer key soon which will include question number and option ID for different sets of NEET UG 2023 question paper. According to the marking scheme of NEET 2023 exam, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
For a student, physics was the toughest subject. Chemistry was moderate and biology was good.
A student, Shayan took coaching from unacademy. He could not attempt a few questions from some subjects except biology. For Devadrita Majumdar, exam was average. Physics was more numerical based while chemistry and biology subjects were easy. She took coaching at Akash and expects a score between 590-600.

According to Priyanka, "chemistry was tough. Rest was okay. Language was tough. I expect to score highest in biology, then physics and then chemistry. All three were moderate. Biology was easy. Physics and chemistry was okay. The strategy to study was to take regular study and focus on self study. Also, took coaching from Ranker's Point."
Doctor and activist Dr Mohamed Khader Meeran appealed to the Central Information Commission (CIC) to direct NMC to upload infrastructure and related assessment reports of medical colleges on the official NMC website.

A NEET UG 2023 candidate found the paper as "neither tough, nor easy". Most questions were same as found in test series.
National Medical Commission (NMC) warned medical aspirants against fake letters for MBBS seat allotment issued under the alleged signature of the secretary. Contrary to the admit card guidelines that students will be allowed to carry water bottles and sanitisers, some exam centres have asked the medical aspirants taking the exam to leave behind water bottles and sanitisers. Red threads around wrists are also cut. Hair clutches are also not allowed.
