NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the NEET 2023 registration from today, March 6. The NTA will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) on May 7. Eligible candidates can register and fill the NEET 2023 application form till — at neet.nta.nic.in 2023. Last date to apply is April 6.
As per the latest NEET seat matrix from both National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India (DCI), 650 medical and 318 dental colleges have 99,013 MBBS, 27,868 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc and AH will be filled through the medical entrance exam.
NEET UG 2023 Application: Points to remember
Candidates will have to remember the following points while filling the NEET UG application form 2023.
- Aspirants must read NEET 2023 eligibility criteria carefully before registering for NEET 2023 to avoid cancellation of candidature.
- Once the details are filled in the NEET 2023 application form, it cannot be edited.
- NEET 2023 correction window will only allow editing of some specific fields. Therefore, candidates are advised to double check the details before submitting it.
- Candidates are also advised to keep the required documents to upload in the application form ready.
- The NEET UG registration process is considered to be complete once the fee payment is done, otherwise, the application process stands cancelled.
- Candidates are advised to download and take a print out of the filled registration form for future reference.
NEET 2023 application form fee
The NEET 2023 application form fee for general category candidates is Rs 1,700, general-EWS and OBC category applicants will have to pay Rs 1,600 and SC, ST, PH candidates will have to deposit Rs 1,000. Whereas candidates belonging to NRI category will have to pay Rs 9,500.
NEET UG registration 2023: How to apply
Applicants can follow the steps given below to fill in the NEET application form 2023 for UG entrance test.
- Visit the NTA NEET official website neet.nta.nic.in 2023.
- Click on the "Registration for NEET UG 2023” link.
- On the next page select “New registration”
- Complete the registration by entering valid email address and generate password.
- Login using the credentials generated and add personal, academic details.
- After filling the NEET form, upload the required documents.
- Pay the NEET application fee and submit the form after crosschecking details.
- Take a printout of application and download it for future reference.
