Becoming a doctor is a dream for many students, and studying MBBS is the first step towards achieving it. Achieving this goal requires consistent effort, self-belief, and dedication. Anushka Anand Kulkarni from Panaji, Goa, is an excellent example of this. She cracked the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) in 2023 with an impressive score of 705 out of 720. She secured an All India Rank (AIR) 24 and gained admission to her dream college — the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. NEET UG Live updates.

Unlike many toppers, Anushka followed a different approach. Instead of studying for very long hours, she focused on a smart study plan with proper breaks. She started her preparation early, from Class 9, and stayed consistent throughout. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she continued her studies online without losing focus. On school days, she studied for 2–4 hours for NEET, while on holidays, she studied more. Kulkarni focused on revision, mock tests, and time management rather than counting study hours.

Anushka was inspired to become a doctor by her family; her uncle is a spine surgeon, and her aunt is a paediatrician. Her teachers and mentors guided her throughout the journey, especially during online learning. Her parents also supported her by providing study materials and emotional encouragement.
