The National Institute of Design (NID) is set to conduct the NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) today, January 2, 2022, in pen and paper-based mode. The national-level two-tier design entrance exam will be conducted in 23 national cities. Every student appearing for NID DAT 2022 prelims exam must adhere to certain COVID-19 guidelines at the exam centre.

Around 25,000+ candidates are expected to appear in NID DAT 2022. The self-declaration undertaking form of NID DAT 2022 will ensure that an aspirant is safe to appear for the exam. Candidates are advised to read the NID DAT 2022 COVID-19 advisory by the National Institute of Design.

NID DAT 2022 COVID-19 guidelines to be followed at the centre

For use by candidates and center staff, hand sanitizers are available at various locations inside the entry gate and exam center.

The space between the two seats will be maintained in the NID DAT 2022 exam hall.

The temperature of each candidate will be checked in the registration room by thermo guns.
NID DAT 2022 pre-exam COVID-19 advisory

Candidates must reach the NID DAT 2022 examination center within the time allotted to them on the admit card. It is to be noted that after closing the entrance gate of the NID DAT 2022 exam hall, no students will be allowed to enter inside.

Candidates at the NID Design Aptitude Test 2022 test center must maintain a minimum distance of six feet from each other at all times.

Students must bring the filled NID DAT 2022 admit card and other mandatory original documents to the examination center.

Candidates should wear a mask and carry small sanitizers when reporting to NID DAT exam centers.

Students must wash their hands with the sanitizer in the NID DAT exam room.

Candidates are required to sign in the attendance sheet and sign the admit card after washing their hands with sanitizer.

Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, no refreshments shall be provided by NID.
NID DAT 2022 post-exam COVID advisory

Upon completion of the examination, the candidates are required to leave the NID DAT 2022 exam hall in an orderly manner.

Do not carry the question-cum-answer booklet or any part of it outside the examination room. Doing so is a punishable offense.
