As per the JEE Mains April 8 exam analysis, the paper was easier compared to the January session and was similar to the April 6 morning shift. Mathematics was the toughest and most time-consuming section, followed by Chemistry, which was moderate and mostly based on NCERT. Physics was the easiest but involved calculations.

JEE Main day 6 Physics analysis
As per the JEE Main April 8 physics analysis, the overall difficulty level of the section was moderate. The paper was easier compared to the January 2026 shift.
Most students were able to complete the section in 50–55 minutes. Compared to Maths and Chemistry, Physics was moderate and considered a high-scoring section for students.
Questions in the exam were based on the following topics
- 2 questions from the Unit and dimensions
- 2 questions from Ray optics (Topic: Telescope)
- 1 question from Thermodynamics
- 2 questions from Modern Physics
- 1 question from Current Electricity
- 1 question from Kinematics (Topic: Range)

JEE Main day 6 chemistry analysis
According to the JEE Main chemistry analysis, the section was moderate. It was easier than Maths but tougher than Physics, and tougher than the January session.
The paper had more statement-based questions from Inorganic Chemistry, tricky Organic Chemistry questions, and higher weightage for Inorganic topics.

JEE Main day 6 mathematics analysis
The overall difficulty level of the JEE Mains April 8 mathematics was moderate. It was harder than Physics and Chemistry but easier than the sessions on April 2, 4, 5, and 6, as well as the January 2026 session.
The section was longer and more time-consuming than the others, focusing on standard concepts with moderate calculations, and did not include any out-of-syllabus questions.
