NTA NCET registration 2025 ends on March 16; exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025 on March 16. Eligible candidates can apply for NCET 2025 on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in.
NCET 2025 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on April 29 for admission to four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in central and state institutions for the academic session 2025-26.
NTA will open the NCET 2025 application correction window on March 18 and candidates will be allowed to edit their details in the NCET application form 2025 till March 19. NCET city intimation slip 2025 will be issued in the first week of April 2025 while NCET 2025 admit card will be released three to four days before the exam.
NCET 2025 exam pattern
NCET 2025 will be conducted for 38 languages and 26 domain-specific subjects. Applicants will be required to choose two different languages – language 1 and language 2 – and three domain-specific subjects. The NCET 2025 question paper will comprise four sections – section 1 on language, section 2 on domain-specific subject, section 3 on general test, and section 4 on teaching aptitude. There will be a total of 181 multiple-choice questions. The detailed exam pattern of NCET 2025 is given below.
