The WBJEE 2022 is conducted every year for BTech admissions into the participating institutes. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee had earlier announced that the WBJEE exam 2022 will be held on April 30. Following this, the CISCE students have taken to Twitter to demand for postponement stating that the WBJEE exam date 2022 is clashing with the ISC Class 12 elective English, hospitality management, Indian music, western music exams.
Several state boards, the CISCE and others revised the Class 12 datesheet exams after the NTA announced the JEE Main 2022 exam dates. Other engineering entrance exams conducted by different states across India such as the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) were also clashing with the JEE Main dates.
Moreover, students have been continuously demanding for a sufficient gap between the two sessions of JEE Main 2022 and more attempts.

Students demand WBJEE 2022 postponement
A student said, “Please postpone WBJEE, It’s crazy how we have to prepare for boards and wbjee at the same time. I don’t think any of the batches before us had to face this. Jee main got postponed due to this exact reason. It defeats the whole purpose if wbjee is still conducted.”
