Punjab pre-board exam 2021: Exams for class 1 to 12 to start from Feb 8
SCERT has released the Punjab Pre-Board Exams 2021 dates for class 1 to 12. The examination will be conducted in offline and online mode and will begin on February 8, 2021.

NEW DELHI : Punjab’s State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the Punjab pre-board exam dates for Class 1 to 12. The examination will begin from February 8, 2021. Pre-Board examinations this year would be conducted for all classes. Students of Class 1 to 8 have the option to choose the mode of examination; online or offline. For Class 9 to 12 the examination will be conducted in offline mode only.
“To ensure students of all classes undergo proper revision, this year pre-board exams will be held for all classes, not just board classes. These will be preparatory exams before the finals,” a spokesperson of the Education Department told Indian Express.

For Classes 1 to 8, there will be long answer questions and also multiple-choice questions.

The examination will be held from the entire syllabus for Class 1 to 5.

For Class 6 to 12, the examination will be held from the reduced syllabus.

The links for the online exam will be sent to district education officers. A day before the scheduled exam and the same question paper will be further forwarded to school principals/heads on the examination day.
As per the orders issued by Director of SCERT, the examination will be set as per the new pattern introduced by PSEB. Students can download the date sheet from the official website of the Punjab School Education Board.
