RRB ALP recruitment 2024 syllabus announced; 5,696 vacancies notified

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the syllabus for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Computer Based Test (CBT) syllabus 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam can download the RRB ALP syllabus 2024 through the official website, indianrailways.gov.in.
The RRB ALP CBT 1 curriculum is divided into four subjects, mathematics, mental ability, general science, and general awareness and CBT 2 syllabus is divided into two parts, Part A and B, where Part B is qualifying in nature.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024 for CBT 1
Candidates appearing for the exam can check the CBT 1 exam pattern here-
- A total of 75 questions are asked for 75 marks.
- The exam duration will be 60 minutes.
- 1/3 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks for general category is 40%, 30% for OBC (NCL), 30% for SC and 25% for ST.
RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024 for CBT 2
Candidates appearing for the exam can check the CBT 2 exam pattern here-
- The exam duration is 120 minutes and a total of 175 questions will be asked in the exam.
- 1/3 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks for general category is 40%, 30% for OBC (NCL), 30% for SC and 25% for ST.
