SSC CGL final result 2024 out at ssc.gov.in; 18,174 candidates qualify

SSC CGL Result 2024: Candidates who qualified in section 1, 2 and submitted preferences online have been considered for final selection.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 final results. The SSC CGL results 2024 can be accessed by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC CGL tier 2 exam was held on January 18, 19, 20, and 31, 2025. The SSC CGL 2024 final result is based on tier 1 and tier 2 marks. A total of 18,174 candidates have been qualified in SSC CGL 2024.

The SSC CGL selection process consists of tier 1, tier 2, document verification, and skill tests. SSC CGL tier I is a qualifying exam, and candidates who clear it move to tier 2. Based on merit and cut-offs, candidates are shortlisted for the final selection, which includes document verification and, kill tests like DEST or CPT for specific posts. The SSC CGL result for tier 1 was declared on December 5.
SSC CGL Result 2024: Cut-off marks
According to the SSC notice, candidates have been shortlisted for the evaluation of section 3, which includes the Computer Knowledge Test (CKT) and Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), based on their overall performance in section 1 and section 2 of SSC CGL tier 2 paper 1. This applies to all posts except Statistical Investigator (SI) grade 2. The SSC CGL 2024 cut-off details and the number of candidates who progressed to the next stage for all posts, except SI grade 2, have been provided.

However, qualified candidates who submitted preferences online were considered for further selection. The SSC CGL result 2024 notice reads, 'In accordance with the Notice No. HQ-C11018/1/2024-C-1 dated 22.02.2025 and 27.02.2025 of the Commission, only those candidates who submitted their option cum preference online have been considered for final selection. Therefore, the candidates who submitted their preference online and also qualified in Section-I + Section-II for evaluation of Section-III have been considered for further selection process.'
The SSC CGL 2024 answer key was out on February 21. Candidates were allowed to raise objection against the SSC CGL 2024 answer key till January 24. The last date to fill the SSC CGL 2024 option-cum-preference form was February 27.
