NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the provisional answer key for the SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) exam 2024, today, December 12. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the SSC JHT 2024 admit card through the official website at ssc.gov.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the SSC JHT answer key 2024. As per the official notice, the commission has also issued the SSC JHT 2024 response sheet along with the provisional answer key.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the SSC JHT answer key 2024 can raise objections through the official website. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 100 to challenge each question. The last date to challenge the SSC JHT 2024 answer key is December 14.
“Representations in respect of the tentative Answer Keys, if any, may be submitted online from 12.12.2024 (06:00 PM) to 14.12.2024 (06:00 PM) on payment of Rs. 100/- per question per answer challenged. Representations received after 06:00 PM on 14.12.2024 will not be entertained under any circumstances,” the official notice read.

SSC JHT Answer Key 2024: Selection process, marking scheme
The SSC JHT exam is conducted in two stages: Paper 1, an objective-type test, in the first stage, and Paper 2, a descriptive paper, in the second stage.
According to the SSC JHT marking scheme, Paper 1 has 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with 100 from General English and 100 from General Hindi. Each question carries one mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. Paper 2 is reviewed only for candidates who qualify in Paper 1.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Paper 2 which is a descriptive paper based on their marks in Paper 1, which is the computer-based examination. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
