Study Abroad: Embassy of Georgia to organise education fair for MBBS, BDS, engineering aspirants
MBBS Abroad: Education fairs will be held in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai over May and June for medical, non-medical students in Class 12.

NEW DELHI: Embassy of Georgia will organise education fairs in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. The education fair will focus on medical and technical courses and how Indian students can obtain support for studying in Georgian universities and colleges, said a statement. Currently, more than 20,000 students study in Georgia with MBBS, dentistry, and computer science engineering being some of the most popular courses.
The study abroad education fairs will be held from May 30. The schedule and venues are given below.

The Ukraine war has left Indian students seeking relatively low-cost options for studying MBBS abroad in other East-European countries. Many have gone on to study in other countries including Russia and Uzbekistan.

MBBS abroad for Indian students
The Embassy of Georgia education fairs will see 11 Georgian universities participating. Special focus will be on medicine and technology. The universities’ representatives will provide details on their offerings and courses to Class 12 students from both medical and non-medical streams.
Prospective students will also get details on admission process, courses, internship opportunities, eligibility criteria, study abroad scholarships available, and fee structure.

As per the official statement, Indian students seek higher education opportunities mainly in fields such as MBBS, dentistry, computer science, undergraduate medical doctor program (MD), BBA and other courses related to medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and information technology (IT), data science and artificial intelligence.

Georgian ambassador Archill Dzuliashvili said: “The response we got in our first event exceeded our expectations. We are delighted to host another event in just six months of time frame to bring all the necessary information about getting admission to a Georgian college under one roof.”
