Symbiosis International to conduct SITEEE, SET B and SLAT as online proctored test

NEW DELHI: Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has announced that the entrance examination for SITEEE, SET B and SLAT will now be conducted as an internet based online proctored test. The authorities have also changed the schedule of the examination and the related events. SITEEE will be conducted as previously announced on July 19 (10 AM to 11:30 AM). However, SET B will now be held from July 26 to 29 and SLAT will be conducted from July 26 to 28, 2020.

What is IRC and DRC?
During Infrastructure Readiness Check (IRC), the system and internet bandwidth of the candidates will be checked to know if it meets the requirements of taking the examination. An integrated Web Cam or an attached Web Cam must be attached to the system.
For the Exam Dry Run Check (DRC), all of the candidates will have to participate in the rehearsal simultaneously like in a real exam. The authorities will check if the infrastructure of the candidate’s system is ready or not and they will be able to practice for the upcoming examination.
Certain changes in the exam pattern have also been introduced by the authorities due to the change of the examination as an online proctored test. Detailed guidelines regarding the examination has also been released by Symbiosis International at their official website.
