The government will issue the Tamil Nadu RTE admission notification today for 25% seats reserved in entry-level classes of all unaided non-minority private schools. As per the admission schedule, schools will upload the 25% RTE seats on October 8 and the online registration will begin from October 9 on rteadmission.tnschools.gov.in.
While offering seats, the TN government will give priority to children belonging to the categories including orphans, HIV-affected or infected, transgender, scavengers, differently-abled. In case the number of applications exceed the quota limit, the directorate will adopt a random selection process.
Under RTE admissions, schools are not allowed to collect any tuition or admission fees from the eligible students.
