TSPSC group 1 registration deadline extends till March 16; admit card, exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has extended the online application form-filling date for the recruitment of group-I posts. Candidates can now fill out the TSPSC group 1 application form by March 16. The TSPSC group 1 prelims exam will be conducted on June 9, 2024.
The TSPSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 563 group 1 posts. Candidates who have not applied for the TSPSC group 1 exam 2024 till now should apply by visiting the official website, tspsc.gov.in. As per the official notification, the TSPSC application form correction window will open on March 23.
The TSPSC prelims exam admit card will be issued seven days before the exam date. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download the TSPSC group 1 admit card.
Candidates from all categories are required to pay the TSPSC application processing fee of Rs 200 and an examination fee of Rs 120. However, government employees and unemployed candidates are exempt from paying the examination fee.
To be eligible for the TSPSC group 1 exam, candidates age should be between 18 years old to 45 years old which varies depending on posts. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.
TSPSC Group 1 Recruitment: Exam pattern
The TSPSC group 1 selection process includes two stages: a preliminary test and a mains exam. Candidates need to clear both stages to get selected for TSPSC group 1 posts.
The TSPSC group 1 prelim exam will have a single paper carrying 150 objective-type questions. Each question will carry one mark. Candidates will be allotted 2.5 hours to complete the exam. The TSPSC group 1 prelims exam will be conducted in three languages including English, Telugu, and Urdu.
