NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has extended the registration deadline for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) counselling 2025. Eligible candidates can now register for the UCEED counselling 2025 till April 3 through the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in.

“Deadline for BDes Admission application is extended until April 3, 2025 (Thursday), 17:30 Hrs,” the official website said. Initially, the UCEED counselling registration 2025 deadline was March 31.
Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 4,000 to register for the UCEED counselling 2025. The UCEED 2025 result was announced on March 7. Candidates declared qualified in the UCEED entrance exam 2025 will only be eligible for the counselling registration.
Candidates from the Open, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) categories should be born on or after October 1, 2000, to be eligible for UCEED counselling 2025. For the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1995.
UCEED 2025 Counselling: Seat allotment process
The institute will conduct five rounds of UCEED 2025 counselling. However, the seat allotment process will conclude once all seats are filled. A seat will be provisionally allotted based on the applicant's All India Rank (AIR) in UCEED 2025, category, and preferred institutes.
Selected candidates will receive UCEED provisional allotment letters via their registered email and will be directed to an online payment system to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 60,000 for GEN, EWS, OBC-NCL categories and Rs 15,000 for SC, ST, PwD categories.

UCEED counselling 2025 is conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at participating Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The UCEED seat matrix for participating institutes is given in the table below.
