The 11 universities to offer open distance learning courses are situated in Gujrat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
The first list of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) with recognised programmes was released on March 10. The details for the recognised HEIs have already been sent through the UGC-DEB portal.
