University of Sheffield invites applications for 3-year mechatronic and robotic engineering
Sheffield University Admission 2024: The institute will provide a scholarship of up to 3,000 Pounds to overseas students.

NEW DELHI: The University of Sheffield is inviting applications for admission into its Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) programme in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering. The programme will provide skills and knowledge to design, build, and control robots. The programme will commence in September 2024.
As per the institute, the annual tuition fee for the Mechatronic and Robotic programme is 29,110 Pounds for overseas students. The University of Sheffield will provide scholarships of up to 3,000 Pounds to overseas students, commencing an undergraduate degree in September 2024.
As per the information shared by the institute, the Mechatronics and Robotics is a three-year programme. In the first year of the programme, the students will learn about how to control robotic systems. In the second year, students will explore areas like programming, mechanical design and intelligent systems. Students will apply their skills to a practical project in designing a system using 3D computer-aided design (CAD) tools and building robots in the university's innovative iForge maker space.
In the third year, students will engage in modules encompassing topics such as robotics and machine learning, and complete an advanced project.
University of Sheffield Admission 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria before applying for the course.

Candidates should have passed Class 12 with math and science subjects.

Candidates from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and Maharashtra board should have a minimum score of 80% in Class 12.

Candidates from the West Bengal board should have at least 75% in Class 12. Candidates from other state boards should have a minimum score of 85% in Class 12.

Candidates should have scored 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalent English language qualification.
