NEW DELHI: The Vellore Institute of Technology has issued the dates for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2024. The exam is scheduled to be conducted April 19 to April 30, 2024.

VITEEE 2024 registration process has commenced from November 1, and the last date to apply is March 30. To register for the VITEEE 2024, candidates can fill the application form on the official site at viteee.vit.ac.in.
To be eligible for admission to the undergraduate engineering program candidate must have obtained at least a 60% combined score in physics, chemistry, and either mathematics or biology in Class 12 exams.
VITEEE 2024: Exam pattern
The VITEEE 2024 examination will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs) only. Each correct answer carries mark, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The medium of the question paper will be English. The exam consists a total of 125 questions and there are five sections in total.
- Mathematics or Biology: 40 questions
- Physics: 35 questions
- Chemistry: 35 questions
- Aptitude: 10 questions
- English: 5 questions

Selection will be based on the rank secured in the VITEEE 2024. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for discussion round. Candidates who obtained a rank up to 100,000 can take part in the discussion for Vellore and Chennai campuses. The allocation options will depend on how well candidates rank in the CBT.
