Download NowNEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has issued the notification for the WBJEE counselling 2024. Candidates who secured a rank in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2024 and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 will be eligible to register for the WBJEE counselling 2024.

The counselling board has informed that the WBJEEB will conduct a single combined counselling process for both WBJEE 2024 and JEE Main 2024 rank holders. Candidates can check the counselling process for the WBJEE 2024 through the official notice available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
As per the official notice, the WBJEE 2024 counselling will take place in three rounds including allotment, upgradation, and mop-up round. All parts of the counselling process, including registration, choice filling, allotment, and payment of the seat acceptance fee, will be conducted online through a centralised system.
The allotment round involves assigning seats to candidates based on their ranks and preferences. In the upgradation round, candidates who have already been allotted seats can opt for a higher preference if available. The mop-up round is conducted to fill any remaining vacant seats after the previous rounds are completed.
WBJEE Counselling 2024: Registration fee
Candidates who want to register for the WBJEE counselling will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 for the allotment round. For the mop-up round, candidates need to pay Rs 200 and confirm their participation. New candidates with a valid rank in WBJEE 2024 and JEE(Main) 2024 should pay Rs 1,000 for registration.
“The counselling portals at wbjeeb.nic.in, wbjeeb.in will provide information on the availability of seats in various institutions, branches, and categories according to the seat matrix provided by the director of technical education, government of West Bengal,” the official notice read.

WBJEE Counselling 2024: Documents required
Candidates should carry the following documents in original and one self-attested copy of each.

Class 10 admit card or birth certificate for verification of date of birth.

Class 10 marksheet.

Class 12 marksheet.

Domicile certificate for West Bengal candidates.

Category certificate, if applicable
-
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) certificate, if applicable

Income certificate for tuition fee waiver (TFW) rank holders
