XAT 2025: Preparation tips
XAT 2025 is conducted for candidates seeking admission into management programmes. Candidates preparing for the exam should have a clear understanding of the XAT syllabus 2025 to score well in the exam.
Candidates should also familiarise themselves with the XAT exam pattern 2025 and marking scheme. The XAT exam comprises four sections: verbal ability and logical reasoning (VA and LR), decision-making (DM), quantitative aptitude and data interpretation (QA and DI), and general knowledge (GK). The 180-minute exam awards one mark for each correct answer, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.
Candidates should create a study plan that covers all sections and utilise practice materials like books and XAT's previous year paper to improve their weak areas and increase their chances of selection.
As XAT 2025 is around the corner, candidates should attempt the mock test on a daily basis to get a clear understanding of the exam pattern. Mock tests also help candidates manage time efficiently, ensuring all questions are attempted within the given duration.
