'AIMA BIZLAB' to give hands on experience for MBA-PGDM studets

Suryadatta Group of Institute in association with AIMA forms first business simulation lab for MBA, PGDM students to hand-on experience. With the help of advanced technology, students will expose students to new ventures through BIZLAB. In this article AIMA director Niraj Kapoor shares his views on how BIZLAB will help promote practical knowledge.
“The present era is based on artificial intelligence and skill-based education, which demands popularization of the technology as well. By using advanced technology, one can progress in their business, professional decisions, and can offer industry-ready skilled manpower. Such technology can give a push to students’ prospect new ventures in entrepreneurship, for which business laboratory (Bizlab) can prove extremely helpful,” said Niraj Kapoor, Director at All India Management Association’s (AIMA)
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the ‘AIMA simulation Bizlab’ setup at the Bawdhan-based Suryadatta Group of Institute with the assistance from AIMA. At the ceremony, Strategic foresight group’s senior Adviser Sachin Itkar, Suryadatta Group’s founder President Dr Sanjay Choradia, Vice-President Sushma Choradia, Director Dr Shailendra Kasande, Director (Public Relations) Captain Shalini Nair, Social Activist Ravi Choudhary, Technical expert from AIMA Mr Ashishkumar, and business representative Swapnil Joshi was present.
During the ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed between AIMA and Suryadatta Group about Bizlab. The lab hosts as many as 128 computers.
Niraj Kapoor further said, “Bizlab is the only simulation lab for the management students, which will have a focus on the practical approach of the knowledge, just like in the medical, engineering and technology labs have. The lab has developed using advanced artificial intelligence. With the help of software, students can try their hands on various new approaches in the field. We are planning to launch six new labs across the country. The first lab was set up in Coimbatore, while the second is set up at Suryadatta Group of Institute. It will provide students with the virtual experience of decision making while in a job or in a business.”
Dr Sanjay Choradia said, “The Suryadutta Group of Institute aims to prepare excellent entrepreneurs, and businessmen to rule the world. By balancing out the Indian traditions and western technology, we want to provide the highest level of education, which will be research oriented as well. This initiative will for the first time help management students to learn the practical approach in their field. We are proud to host such lab in our institute, which will give industry-ready manpower.”
While Ashish Kumar gave the technical information of the AIMA bizlab. He said that it will help in balancing out the theoretical knowledge and practical situation, and will prepare students to cater to future challenges. Captain Shalini Nair anchored the event, while Dr Pratiksha Wable acknowledged the guests.
