Ashoka University, AI & Beyond launch AI Unboxed, literacy programme for business leaders

NEW DELHI: Ashoka University and AI & Beyond have collaborated to introduce AI Unboxed, a learning programme designed to equip business leaders with AI literacy, comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative impact on organizations. The course, co-developed by AI experts Jaspreet Bindra and Anuj Magazine in partnership with Ashoka University, represents the first collaboration for AI & Beyond.
The AI Unboxed program, offered through AshokaX, the corporate learning platform of Ashoka University, is structured to lead participants through the strategic use of AI, assisting them in navigating decision-making processes and ethical challenges.
Ideal for mid to senior-level professionals
According to Ashoka University, tailored for mid to senior-level professionals, the course addresses the increasing demand for AI literacy in leadership roles, equipping participants to effectively integrate AI technologies into business operations and foster innovation.
Dates and course structure
First cohort scheduled on November 15, 16 and 17, 2024 in NCR and at Ashoka University Campus. The three-day offline course is structured to explore the use of AI across industries like finance, healthcare, and retail. The press release read, “By focusing on building AI literacy, the programme seeks to empower decision-makers with the knowledge needed to drive responsible AI transformation in their respective industries.”
Focus on AI ethics
The official press release states that the programme, led by AI expert Jaspreet Bindra, will provide participants with a certificate from Ashoka University and access to an alumni network. The course focuses on AI ethics, helping participants understand the challenges involved in ensuring responsible innovation. It also offers a 100-day framework for integrating AI into their business operations.

Faculty members and speakers
The programme will include a range of speakers and faculty members such as Jaspreet Bindra, co-founder of AI&Beyond and managing director of Tech Whisperer Limited, UK; Anna Nicolis, advisor on Ethics and Regulation at AI&Beyond; Manpreet Singh Ahuja, senior partner and chief digital officer at PwC; professor Partha Pratim Chakraborty, AI expert and former director of IIT Kharagpur; Rohit Pandharkar, partner in technology consulting at EY; Anuj Magazine, co-founder of AI&Beyond; and Udai Singh, president of NIIT, who specializes in technology and education.
