Attempt NowNEW DELHI : Due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in the country, students are requesting the CBSE board to cancel the CBSE Class 12 exam 2021 on social media. The hashtag, #cancel12thboardexams2021, #SaveStudents, and so on are also trending on Twitter. Urging the authorities to cancel the CBSE board 12th exams due to the rapid spread of coronavirus, students are tagging education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal and CBSE board in their tweets.

The notice from MHRD which was released on April 14 said, “The situation will be reviewed on June 1, 2021, by the Board, and details will be shared accordingly. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations.”
Earlier, the board cancelled the CBSE 10th exams and postponed CBSE Class 12th exam 2021. The MHRD announced that the new CBSE Class 12th exam date 2021 will be announced later once the current situation of COVID-19 normalises.
