NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the Class 12 exams 2021 in view of the current Covid-19 situation. The postponement of the CBSE 12th exam has been decided today in a meeting held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

The board exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021. However, the CBSE Class 12 exams 2021 stand postponed for now. The situation will be reviewed by the CBSE board on June 1, 2021, and later, the board will be making a decision. A prior notice of 15 days will be given to the students before the commencement of the examination.
It is expected that the CBSE 12th exam dates will be announced after reviewing the ground situation in June 2021. The new exam dates may be announced in the month of June 2021.
It is advisable that Class 12 students must continue their board exam preparations as the exams have not been cancelled. In addition to this, they will have to appear for the competitive exams as well, so the current situation must not hamper their preparations.
